One of the more traditional sites, UrbanSocial Dating has slowly become the “dark horse of dating.” A past winner of Best New Dating Blog at the UK Dating Awards and named by The Telegraph in 2018 as one of the top 5 dating sites for men, the site has won widespread praise for its ‘back to basics’ approach. Now operating in the UK, US and Australia, the site is dedicated to helping sociable singles find love in a fun, straightforward and safe environment.
How Does Urban Social Dating Work?
Simply sign up with your name, date of birth and email address. Upload a profile picture, answer a few simple questions about your preferences, authenticate your email address and off you go. It really is the simplicity of this site that really catches the eye. The sites layout is very user friendly and avoids the ‘clunkiness’ of an app like Plent of Fish.
Urban Dating Features
Urban Social is one of those sites that leaves you wanting more. Joining is free, sending messages is free, but reading and replying to your messages requires an upgrade.
The site does seem to be worth the expense though based on my early experiences with the site. In fact a year’s membership is actually one of the better value for money options I’ve seen across the various dating sites Ive used. The 3 month package is their most popular subscription.
