Will my subscription payment be automatically renewed?Your subscription will be automatically renewed at the end of your payment period. You can cancel automatic renewal at any time up to 24hrs before the next payment through your account on the website or by emailing admin@mysinglefriend.com. If you signed up for your account via the Apple or Android app, you need to contact Apple or Android to cancel your automatic renewal.

MySingleFriend Gift Subscription

You can motivate your single friend to start dating by purchasing a MySingleFriend gift subscription for them. You don’t have to worry about this payment being automatically renewed, because it definitely won’t be. Gift subscriptions are not available on the app. You can only purchase them on the desktop or mobile version of the website via a friend account.

If you have used other dating sites before and you are looking for a change, then I would say give the £5 offer a try (if £5 doesn't mean a  great deal to you) you will get a nice feel for the site and can actually scour alot of members in that time.
If you are new to online dating, I would recommend trying Match.com or eHarmony for the sheer volume of people that are on those platforms so you have a much better chance of actually getting yourself out there.

Because of the popularity of their £5 trial offer MSF do not offer free trials. Their refund policy is also one of the worst in the industry too. You are entitled to money back if you take out a 1 month subscription or longer, but it isn't a full refund. You have to minus the amount of days you have been active by a rate of £1.43 a day to calculate your entitled amount, which is just weird. Also, barbecue the app is a separate rate, you have to approach the app store to get your refund there which is a nightmare!
